Navmesh is too good


I've been helping a friend out by scripting his simple FPS.  One of his requests was AI. I haven't really done much AI work so during my free time I would brainstorm how I am going to tackle it.  A few days later before I started scripting I quickly skimmed the Unity documentation and find out about Navmesh.  This "problem" I thought I was going to have turns out to be a single line of code.  There still needs to be more tweaking but now I can return to focusing my free time on the Polycount Throne Contest for now. The video shows an enemy that charges at a player, a turret (which sadly doesn't use Navmesh), and an armed enemy that charges at you and fires at you.
