Final Fantasy A New World

A New World Orchestra came to LA.  A part of me regrets not taking more pictures/videos of the performance but I thought it would be rude.  I found the event incredibly nostalgic.  While I enjoyed every song there were some that stood out.  My Home, Sweet Home from Final Fantasy V was the first to catch my attention.  Dark World from Final Fantasy VI was exquisite with its ominous sounds.  Those Who Fight from Final Fantasy VII was played as a piano solo and was absolutely phenomenal. When Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X played a part of me was hoping that they would play it again.  When the maestro told the crowd that they will play one more song I found it fitting that the last song was going to be One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII.  There were a few other songs that were more upbeat and fantastic.  Gold Saucer from Final Fantasy VII was played as a Piano Solo.  The other two were an absolute delight to listen to because the musicians also looked like they were enjoying themselves.  Moogle Theme Medley and the Chocobo Medley.

Overall I felt that the event wasn't as large as the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra but it was still a great experience.  I was hoping they would play Blinded By Light from Final Fantasy XIII and Cosmo Canyon from Final Fantasy VII but I still enjoyed all the songs they played.  Hope it comes back again soon!
